the experimental results are summarized as follows:

1 the influence of auxiliaries and sizing methods on the sizing degree of finished paper

cationic starch, amphoteric starch and amphoteric PAM are added to the waste pulp in forward sizing and reverse sizing respectively. The experimental conditions are: aluminum sulfate 10% [Al2 (SO4) 3], rosin gum 3%, amphoteric PAM 0.05%, pulp concentration 0.2%. By measuring the sizing degree of hand-made tablets, it is found that the most obvious sizing effect is amphoteric PAM, and the increase value of sizing degree is 11S (reverse sizing) and 9s (CIS sizing). The sizing value of amphoteric starch was 3S (reverse sizing) and 2S (CIS sizing); The sizing degree was almost not improved by adding cationic starch. The experiment also found that the reverse sizing method was better than the forward sizing method
