Liebherr provides Antonov an-132d with an integrated air management system

Liebherr Aerospace Toulouse (France) will provide Antonov's new aircraft an-132d with an integrated air management system. With the research and utilization of vehicle lightweight, Liebherr Aerospace signed a contract with representatives of Ukrainian aircraft manufacturers at the ILA Berlin air show on June 1st, 2016
Liebherr Aerospace Toulouse Co., Ltd., as the center of excellence in air management system, will design, provide and service air management system for the first an-132d, including air bleed system, cabin pressure control and anti icing system. The contract includes the delivery of systems for four aircraft for flight testing to Antonov's factory in Kiev (Ukraine)

At the contract signing ceremony of the ILA Berlin air show in 2016, the an-132d aircraft will be the first prototype of a new type of AN-132 turboprop light transport aircraft to replace the regional aircrafts an-32 and an-26. The AN-132 project was implemented by Antonov in close cooperation with kacst and taqnia Aviation Co., Ltd., headquartered in Riyadh (KSA)
Liebherr Aerospace also provides cabin pressure control systems for An-74 and an-140, as well as integrated air management systems for an-148, an-158 and an-178 prototypes. Mr. Francis Carla, managing director and chief technical officer of air management system of Haier aviation and Transportation Co., Ltd. (1000KN), said: "the new contract signed for an-132d is another proof of our successful cooperation with Antonov."
